Stock adjustment / correction

Correction

From time to time, there will be changes in inventory that do not follow the normal pattern of goods in and goods out. To be able to write items either in or out of the warehouse outside of this, you can make a stock adjustment directly in InStock.

In the example below, a warehouse employee was unlucky and two items fell to the ground and were damaged.

The employee can then immediately open the scanner and go to the "Correction" menu. There the form is filled in. Fill in which item was damaged and the location from which it fell. The predefined reason code "Damaged" is selected and a small comment is added.

A -2 was also added as there are two fewer of this item now at this location.

Once you have pressed the check mark, you go to "Spoken corrections", verify and press the paper airplane to finalize the correction.

If two new items had been found, they could have been entered with a positive sign and a different reason code, or you could use the count function in InStock.

The inventory will then be adjusted downwards by two items at this location.

This correction will then appear in the transaction list in the InStock portal and may be transferred to ERP if desired.
