Release Notes v1.11

The biggest functional expansions in this version

  • Full support for items with serial number requirements
You can now use InStock to gain full control over items with serial number requirements. Items defined as serial number controlled require that you also enter a serial number when making a stock movement. In principle, serial number controlled items are handled in the same way as batch controlled items, but where it is only possible to do stock weighings with a quantity of 1. New value in product master data defines the item as serial number controlled.

  • Internal TMS module has been expanded with the option of planning transport
New functions have been introduced for vehicle maintenance and planning of deliveries per vehicle and route. A planner can thus plan in advance which shipments and packages will go with which vehicle.

  • Shipping price from TMS solution can be adjusted
When printing transport labels, the price can also be retrieved from the TMS solution. This price can now be adjusted before it is sent to ERP and possibly added to the order. The price can be multiplied by a factor (e.g. add a markup of 30%), and it can be rounded off (e.g. to the nearest øre, 50 øre, whole krone. 10-krone, etc.). Contact iSYS for configuration and setup.

  • InStock user can be stamped on transactions made in AutoStore
The integration with AutoStore now sends its internal user code to InStock so that it can be mapped to a specific InStock user. The transaction in InStock can thus be marked with which user performed the transaction in AutoStore. Contact iSYS for configuration and setup.

Changes to the portal

  • Product overview
Image to view and edit product details now opens by clicking on the line. Previously you had to click on the Edit icon (pencil). In the next version this will be the default behavior in all master data functions.

New shortcuts for "View inventory" and "View transactions" have been introduced along with "Write item label" under a separate menu item per line.

  • Product details
The fields for "Date" and "Batch" have been replaced by "Batch/Date/Serial Number" . Here you can specify whether the item is batch, date or serial number controlled. Serial Number is a new option, and requires that you enter a serial number for all inventory movements.

New field "Number of packages" . Only used for calculating the number of packages when transferring planned shipments (picking lists) to the TMS module.

  • New feature Vehicles
For users of the TMS module, a vehicle register can now be maintained. Packages and shipments can be assigned to a vehicle during transport planning.

  • New feature Planner
Users of the TMS module can now plan transportation by assigning routes and packages to vehicles.

  • Resetting table layout
Table overviews that can be customized via "Select table layout" can now also be reset to the default layout.

Change in app

  • Serial number
For items that are serial number controlled, a field for "Serial number" is displayed. This shows the number of serial numbers that have been entered. Press the field to open the image to enter the serial number. Different validations of serial numbers are made, depending on which function is used. For example, if you are going to pick a serial number, it must be at the specified location. If you are going to receive a serial number, it must not already be at the specified location. Etc.

  • Correction
Up or down adjustment of inventory was previously controlled by the sign entered in the quantity field (- if down adjustment). This is now controlled by pressing the "plus" or "minus" icon. The sign is NOT entered in the quantity dialog anymore.

  • Show order lines
Before generating a picking list, you can view order lines. Order lines are now opened by long-clicking on an order in the list.
