Release Notes v1.12

View inventory per style upon receipt of goods

For items defined with a style, a new menu option has been introduced to view inventory for all items with the same style.

Simplified process for registering a new GTIN during goods receipt and picking

The "Add GTIN..." menu option previously sent you to the general GTIN maintenance screen. This made the process more complicated than necessary. Now, only a dialog appears where you scan the GTIN and it is registered directly.

Simplified process for creating packages when starting multi-customer picking

The process for creating packages when picking for multiple customers at the same time has been simplified. If the solution is not configured to create a package automatically when creating a picking list, you previously had to go into each individual customer to create one package at a time. A new menu option has now been introduced where you can create packages for all customers who do not have this. The menu option is only visible if there are one or more customers for whom a package has not already been created.

Simplified process for printing shipping labels and completing picking lists

When reporting a pick list with open packages complete, a dialog box appears where you can choose to print shipping labels for all open packages, or just close them. If you choose to print, all labels will automatically be printed on the selected printer.

Add or replace item at pick

It is possible to allow picking of items that are not already on the order. Long-click on a pick line and select "Add item". You can then search for another item and register picking on it. This will create a new order line on the order.

It is possible to allow picking of replacement items. Long-click on a pick line and select "Replace item". You can then search for another item and pick it instead. This will replace the item number on the existing order line.

Both of these additional features require that the operations are allowed in the ERP solution and implemented in the integration from InStock. Please contact iSYS if you are interested in these additional features.

Simplified navigation for viewing details and editing master data

In the portal, you now only need to click on the relevant line to maintain underlying data. This is in contrast to previously where you had to click on the icon (pencil) to maintain data.

The item card also shows inventory and transactions.

Inside the product card in the portal, separate sections have now been introduced for inventory and transactions. This means that you can view this information per product, without navigating to the functions for Inventory and Transactions.

  • AutoStore integration can be configured per category

  • The following functionality can now be controlled based on the category of a scrap list:

  • Should a shipping label be printed when a new package is created?

  • Should a package label be printed when a new package is created?

  • Should packages be closed when picking from AutoStore is complete?

  • Should the picking list be reported as complete if the picking list is fully picked?
