Homeco, which includes the chains Kitchn'n, Tilbords & Cervera, has gone live with InStock

New WMS provides increased efficiency and stronger interaction throughout the value chain

This week, Homeco, which includes the chains Kitchn'n, Tilbords & Cervera, has taken an important digital step forward by going live with InStock as its new Warehouse Management System (WMS) at its main warehouse in Bryne. After replacing its previous system, the company is already seeing clear benefits in the form of better flow, higher automation and more efficient work processes.

The goal of the transition has been clear: to catch time thieves, establish good and precise rules in the system, and reduce person-dependent tasks. With InStock, Homeco is now facilitating a more standardized and automated everyday life, which provides better support for picking and packing – and frees up time for value-creating work.

Choosing a new WMS

We were at a crossroads where we wanted a closer and more efficient integration between WMS and our core systems. InStock was the right choice for us, especially because ISYS already knows our system portfolio well and delivers several of the integrations to our third-party systems.

InStock is fully integrated with several central systems in Homeco's IT and logistics platform. The solution is connected to feed PIM , which Homeco has used for many years as a master for product information, as well as to EG Chain as the core system for goods flow and store operations. InStock is also integrated with the online shopping solutions for Kitch'n and Tilbords provided by Enfinity AS, ensuring seamless handling of orders from online to warehouse.

On the automation side, InStock is integrated with AutoStore provided by Element Logic, as well as Omnimod's sorting table. The interaction between the systems provides high precision, faster order processing and an efficient flow from goods receipt to finished packed and shipped orders.

Warehouse at Bryne

The warehouse in Bryne plays a central role in Homeco's logistics and handles both online orders and store pickup orders. With InStock in place, the warehouse is now better equipped for further growth, increased volume and ever-increasing demands for delivery precision.

Already in the start-up phase, Homeco reports positive effects – both in the form of better overview, good user interfaces, fewer manual operations and increased quality in deliveries.

This marks the start of a new chapter for Kitch'n's logistics platform, where automation, integrations and efficient interaction across systems form a solid foundation for further development.
