Sprell chooses InStock WMS – says goodbye to outdated warehouse system
One of Norway's most well-known toy chains has chosen a new solution for warehouse management. After a thorough review of the market, the choice fell on InStock WMS.
Sprell opened its first store at Majorstua in 1995 with a focus on products made from natural materials, good design and quality. Today, the chain has grown to 13 stores and an online store — and is among Norway's best-known retailers of quality toys, baby equipment and children's room interiors. Behind the scenes, the logistics are handled by Pluss Agenturer, the wholesaler that represents several of Europe's best-known suppliers of quality toys and children's room products, and that supplies to specialist retailers throughout the country.
Outdated and unstable solution forced a change
The warehouse operations of Sprell and Pluss Agenturer were for a long time run on a WMS solution that was gradually becoming outdated. The system was unstable, difficult to maintain and had not kept up with developments in the industry. This created friction in daily operations and limited opportunities for growth and efficiency.
