Flexit delivers product data to FINFO – automatically, straight from feed® PIM
iSYS has built an integration between feed® PIM and FINFO for Flexit Sverige AB. Each time the scheduled job runs, products, media files and ETIM classification go from feed® to FINFO in three formats simultaneously, without manual post-processing.
About Flexit
Flexit is a Norwegian, family-owned manufacturer of ventilation and indoor climate solutions, with roots dating back to 1974. For over 50 years, they have developed solutions that provide better indoor climate, lower energy consumption and safety in Nordic buildings.
The challenge: many formats, one reality
For a manufacturer like Flexit, it is not enough that the product data is good – it must also get to where customers and installers are looking. In Sweden, FINFO is a central product database for the plumbing and installation industry, and FINFO accepts data in several different formats: a Vilma flat file with product information, a MediaCentral package with images and documents, and a BMEcat file with technical properties according to ETIM.
Keeping these three deliverables up to date by hand is time-consuming and vulnerable. Each file has its own requirements for structure, character set, and content, and the media files alone can quickly number in the hundreds. One forgotten image or an outdated feature, and the product appears weaker than it actually is.
The solution: feed® PIM as source – breeze as engine
Flexit has already collected its product information in feed® PIM , which is also used as a hub for deliveries to other channels. iSYS has now connected feed® directly to FINFO via breeze , iSYS's integration platform. The integration is in production.
When the scheduled job in feed® runs, breeze fetches all products marked for FINFO, builds the three files in parallel and delivers them to FINFO – Vilma and MediaCentral via SFTP, and BMEcat via email. Along the way, status and progress are reported back to the job in feed®.

This solves the integration for Flexit
• One source of truth. Product data is maintained in one place – in feed® PIM. What is correct in feed® becomes correct in FINFO.
• Three formats in one run. Vilma 2.8.0 (123 fields per product), MediaCentral according to FINFO's import template and BMEcat 2005 with ETIM 10 properties are generated and delivered in the same job.
• Full control over the selection. Flexit controls which products go to FINFO, with a separate attribute in feed®. Both active and discontinued products are included, so that FINFO always has an up-to-date picture.
• Complete media content – without duplicates. Images, documents, energy labels, relationships such as accessories and spare parts are included. Variants inherit media files from the base product where they lack their own, and the files are deduplicated before download.
• Visibility without changing tools. Progress, quantity and any errors are displayed directly in the feed® job log.
• Safe testing. A separate test mode generates the files without sending anything to FINFO, so that changes can be verified before they go out.
• Robust operation. Uploads are automatically retried in the event of an error, and each part of the integration has its own error handling that clearly reports which step failed.
The numbers from a verified run
A verified production run in August 2026 shows what one full delivery to FINFO consists of:

The media handling in particular is effective: By inheriting and deduplicating media files, 1,098 media references are turned into 487 unique files that are downloaded and sent once each. This results in faster executions and less load – regardless of the number of products in the selection.
Part of a bigger picture
The FINFO integration comes in addition to Flexit's other deliveries from feed® PIM, including to Cobuilder and to the industry formats for EFO, NOBB (NRF).
The result is that Flexit maintains product information once, and lets feed® ensure that the right data reaches the right channels.
